Plus, the first boss (Fire Breath) is the only one modified in Critical Mode, there are meant to be more changes, but it stays like this for now. With Beginner, almost all the bosses have at least 3 or 4 hits, where as with Critical, every boss has around 12 to 16 hits. As my first impression, I went with Sonic & Knuckles, plus the easiest & hardest difficulty available. This is actually intentional it just slows down the game in the creators opinion. As a work-around, Sonic should fight against this boss alone. There are a few oversights/glitches: - When playing as Sonic & Tails together, a bug starts the player off at the beginning of the stage in Mushroom Hill Zone Act 1, therefore blocking them off from the boss area and preventing them from facing the Mushroom Hill Zone Miniboss, and therefore the rest of the bosses beyond that point. As of right now it is fairly functional you can play through the game as Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles on either Beginner, Standard, Proud, or Critical Mode (Modeled after Kingdom Hearts). This is in the alpha stages of development. This hack was inspired by Robotnik's Revenge, a Rom Hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Boss Attack is a Rom Hack of Sonic 3 & Knuckles made by Segastar.
